I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychosexual therapist. I gained my diploma at The centre for Psychosexual Health
There doesn't have to be anything 'wrong' with you sexually or for there to be a specific sexual problem in order for you to embark on psychosexual therapy. I see sexual work as an exploration and discovery of self - thinking more deeply about what you've learnt, where you have come from and where you want to go next.
Sexual issues are unique and therefore vast, I have been trained to work with all sexual issues, individuals and couples. Some of the issues that might bring you to psychosexual therapy might be;
- Relationship problems
- Performance related issues
- Sexual abuse
- Sexual health
- Addictions/compulsive behaviours
- Questions about your sexual identity/orientation
I'm particularly passionate about working with women to educate and inform them about their menstrual cycle and how to live in harmony with their bodies. How to work with your natural cycle to enhance your life, not hinder it. This is especially helpful for women who experience PMS symptoms, who have fertility problems, who have particularly heavy periods or no periods. Whatever happens in your cycle there are adjustments you can make that will improve your overall wellbeing and your relationship with your hormones.
